Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was the 43-40 winner over South Shore International when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Roosevelt Rough Riders were dealt a 68-30 loss at the hands of the South Shore International Tars on Saturday. The Rough Riders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Roosevelt's record is now 3-16. As for South Shore International, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will square off against Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Shore International has already played their next game (against Christian Fenger Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
