Basketball Recap: Houston Homeschool Athletics Takes a Loss

Houston Homeschool Athletics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers and fell 86-45. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1099th, while the Panthers are ranked 472nd).

Aggieland HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Cox, who went 7 for 11 en route to 15 points along with seven assists and six boards. Cox is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games he's played. Micah Krajca was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Houston Homeschool Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, their record now sits at 18-6.
