Baseball Recap: Masterman Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Masterman can now relate to. They came up short against the Faith Christian Academy Lions on Monday, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Dragons haven't been shut out since back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Masterman and nudges their season record down to 7-9-1. As for Faith Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Masterman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will take on Halifax on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
