Soccer Recap: Pine Tree Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Pine Tree Pirates didn't have quite enough to beat the Spring Hill Panthers and fell 3-2. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Robles and Indy Salazar scored both of Pine Tree's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Pine Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Spring Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Pine Tree will venture away from home to square off against Carthage at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Pine Tree is facing Carthage at the right time seeing as Carthage is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Spring Hill, they will take on Tatum at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
