Softball Recap: Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Find Success

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Huntley Project Red Devils 2-1 on Friday.

Brynn Donaldson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macy Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 21-5 loss against Manhattan on the 28th. As for Huntley Project, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Glasgow on the 28th.
