Palm Desert has gone a perfect 10-0 against Palm Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Aztecs will take on the Indians at 6:30 p.m. Palm Desert will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Palm Desert was able to grind out a solid win over Shadow Hills, taking the game 7-3.

Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Palm Springs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past Xavier Prep 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since March 1st.

Ian Ernesto Arroyo was incredible, getting on base in all six of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (four).

Palm Desert's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Palm Springs, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 8-18.

Everything went Palm Desert's way against Palm Springs in their previous meeting back in March, as Palm Desert made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aztecs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
