Basketball Recap: Tornillo Wins Going Away Against Harmony School of Innovation

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bowie, Tornillo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Harmony School of Innovation Wolves 60-38. That 22 point margin sets a new team best for the Coyotes this season.

Despite the loss, Harmony School of Innovation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Angel Valle made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points and six rebounds.

Tornillo's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tornillo will face off against Kermit at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will challenge Irvin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
