Game recap: Dobyns-Bennett tops Sullivan Central as Foreman throws for four touchdowns

Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, Tenn.) defeated Sullivan Central (Blountville, Tenn.) 75-0 while riding the arm of Malik Foreman, who tossed four touchdown passes.

After taking the lead on a Foreman touchdown pass to Devaun Swafford in the first quarter, the Indians led 55-0 at the half.

Dobyns-Bennett expanded its lead to 62 points entering the fourth quarter. DB scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.

The Kingsport school got 12 points from its defense on the way to victory.

The Indians went into the matchup giving up only 15.0 points per game.



Dobyns-Bennett also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 49-0.

The defeat comes as a step back for Sullivan Central, which notched a 13-7 victory over Sullivan East in its previous outing.

Sullivan Central (3-3) goes up against Tennessee in a AAA District 1 game matchup next week, while Dobyns-Bennett (6-0) locks horns with David Crockett also in a AAA District 1 game.
