Baseball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Siegel on Tuesday, Riverdale came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Stars by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stars earlier this season, when they won 7-0.

Riverdale moved to 19-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Siegel, they pushed their record up to 31-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Riverdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
