Softball Recap: Chaparral Pumas vs. Temecula Valley Golden Bears

Chaparral scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears as the Chaparral Pumas made off with a 21-6 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Chaparral as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Trista Clarke and Keira Beierly did most of the damage at the plate: Clarke went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Beierly got on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Mia Kingcade was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

On Temecula Valley's side, Samantha Light made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery DePauw, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
