Jackson came tearing into Friday's contest with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hazelwood West Wildcats 80-47. The Fighting Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Hazelwood West saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jamiah Herring-Green dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Herring-Green's evening made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Timia Blissett was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 13 points.

Jackson pushed their record up to 23-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. As for Hazelwood West, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

As of now, neither Jackson nor Hazelwood West have any future games scheduled.
