Basketball Recap: JALEN JACKSON Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Anclote

It's playoff time, and Dunedin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Anclote Sharks by a score of 78-67 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-60 back in December of 2024.

Dunedin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JALEN JACKSON, who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points. SHERWIN SIMMONS was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Dunedin and bumps their season record up to 17-9. As for Anclote, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Dunedin will be playing in front of their home fans against Nature Coast Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nature Coast Tech will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Dunedin surely won't give up without a fight. Anclote does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
