Softball Recap: Mount Si Comes Up Short

Mount Si and Woodinville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mount Si had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Ally Hetzel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Maners, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Mount Si's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Woodinville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Mount Si nor Woodinville have any future games scheduled.
