Dynamic duo of Mya Van Salisbury and Taylor Davidson lead North Port to victory

Recap: North Port Bobcats vs. Manatee Hurricanes

The North Port Bobcats won the last time they faced the Manatee Hurricanes, and things went their way on Tuesday too. North Port walked away with a 43-31 win over Manatee.

Leading North Port to victory were Mya Van Salisbury and Taylor Davidson. Van Salisbury scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Davidson scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Davidson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rhiley Richards, who scored seven points along with five assists and two steals.

North Port's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Manatee, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Port will square off against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manatee will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
