Softball Recap: Circleville Comes Up Short

Circleville suffered their closest loss since April 29, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hilliard Bradley Jaguars by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Circleville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee West, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Circleville's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-14. As for Hilliard Bradley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Circleville has already played their next match (against Central Crossing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hilliard Bradley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Sheridan on the 10th.
