Volleyball Recap: Center Hill's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Grenada last Thursday, Center Hill came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to Lake Cormorant on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lake Cormorant this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Center Hill took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-23.

Center Hill's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Lake Cormorant, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Hill will challenge Saltillo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Cormorant, they will square off against Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
