Basketball Recap: Licking Heights Comes Up Short

Licking Heights was the 55-47 winner over Heath when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Licking Heights Hornets lost 52-31 to the Heath Bulldogs on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Licking Heights' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Heath, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Licking Heights will host Zanesville at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heath, they will head out to square off against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
