After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bentonville West, Rogers was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Van Buren Pointers. The win continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their matchups with the Pointers: they've now won four in a row.

Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Van Buren, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
