Football Recap: Valley Central Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Valley Central's offense. They were outmatched by the Wallkill Panthers and fell 27-0. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Kent Glasgow had an outrageously good game for Wallkill as he rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Glasgow a new career-high.

Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wallkill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Valley Central and Wallkill will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings are set to take on their familiar foe Monroe-Woodbury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wallkill will face off against rival Beacon at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
