Basketball Recap: Bear River Bears vs. Green Canyon Wolves
Bear River lost against Green Canyon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bear River Bears came up short against the Green Canyon Wolves, falling 73-47. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Wolves are ranked 12th).
Easton Stokes went supernova for Green Canyon, going 6 for 7 en route to 19 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Stokes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Crane, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 17 points and five assists.

Green Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Mountain Crest likes a good challenge.
