Soccer Recap: Green Hill Comes Up Short

Green Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the David Crockett Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Green Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while David Crockett are ranked 50th).

Green Hill's goal came courtesy of Carter Foust, which was the first he's scored this season.

Green Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for David Crockett, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Coincidentally, Green Hill and David Crockett will both be playing Brighton the next time they take the pitch. The Hawks will head out to face the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Pioneers will head out to face them at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday.
