Basketball Recap: Catoosa Victorious

Catoosa hadn't done well against Fort Gibson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Catoosa Indians came out on top against the Fort Gibson Tigers by a score of 61-51. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 64-61 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Catoosa and bumps their season record up to 13-4. As for Fort Gibson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Catoosa has already played their next game (against Hilldale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Gibson will challenge Oologah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oologah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Fort Gibson likes a good challenge.
