Baseball Recap: Hardin Hornets vs. Hardin-Jefferson Hawks

Hardin gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks, sneaking past 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Monday.

Lleyton Berry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Berry was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Jayden Phelps was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
