Soccer Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Sierra Linda Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 33rd).

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Sierra Linda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Glendale nor Sierra Linda have any future games scheduled.
