Soccer Game Preview: Tyner Academy vs. McMinn Central

The Tyner Academy Rams will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the McMinn Central Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Tyner Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Tyner Academy in their meetings with Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, McMinn Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Sweetwater, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, McMinn Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Sweetwater are ranked 87th).

Tyner Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for McMinn Central, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 3-3-1.
