Basketball Game Preview: Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates vs. Warrenton Warriors

The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates will square off against the Warrenton Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Neah-Kah-Nie comes in on three and Warrenton on four.

Last Thursday, Neah-Kah-Nie was able to grind out a solid victory over Banks, taking the game 71-59.

Meanwhile, everything went Warrenton's way against Yamhill-Carlton on Thursday as Warrenton made off with a 60-40 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Neah-Kah-Nie is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Warrenton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Neah-Kah-Nie won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, slipping by Warrenton 52-51. Will Neah-Kah-Nie repeat their success, or does Warrenton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
