Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg and Concord Christian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pittsburg had to settle for second. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Concord Christian Kingsmen. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Kingsmen from their previous meeting back in December of 2018.

Pittsburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. The win was the 18th in a row for Concord Christian, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.

Pittsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Concord Christian, they will face off against Epping on Thursday. One thing working in Concord Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 contests.
