Northview extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-9-1 in the process. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Charter Oak Chargers. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Chargers on their field since May 21, 2021.

As for Charter Oak, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. Chargers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Northview since on Tuesday.

For Charter Oak's part, Marcus Reese was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Reese has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jorge Aceves was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Northview will have a chance to go back-to-back against Charter Oak: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
