Basketball Recap: Breckenridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Early last Friday, Breckenridge came back down to earth. The Breckenridge Buckaroos were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 61-60 to the Dublin Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buckaroos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-36 on January 3rd.

With the loss, Breckenridge broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-14. As for Dublin, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.

Breckenridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Millsap at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dublin, they will head out on the road to take on Eastland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
