Biddeford faced Kennebunk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Biddeford might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Kennebunk scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Gabrielle Diggins paced Biddeford's offense, picking up eight kills. Diggins got some help from Maeve Donovan and her nine assists. Diggins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Biddeford's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Kennebunk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

As of now, neither Biddeford nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
