Basketball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Atlantic Christian Sharks

Pahokee is 1-6 against Atlantic Christian since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pahokee Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Atlantic Christian Sharks at 7:30 p.m.

Pahokee is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Atlantic Christian on Thursday. They fell to the Sharks 35-29. The matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pahokee better focus on containing Canaan Gedeon and Mike Muscrella as the pair were huge in Atlantic Christian's win. Gedeon posted ten points and three steals, while Muscrella put up seven points along with six boards and five steals. Muscrella has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Javian Cleveland was another key player, putting up nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Pahokee and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Atlantic Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
