Football Recap: Lake Minneola's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

Lake Minneola fell victim to Davenport and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost to the Broncos on the road by a 19-0 margin. The match marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Minneola fell to 11-1. As for Davenport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Lake Minneola and Davenport should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Hawks (ranked 36th) will meet Miami (ranked 262nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Davenport will take on Lake Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (87 vs. 281).
