After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Banning, Capistrano Valley Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 39-38 photo finish over the Calvary Chapel Eagles. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Capistrano Valley Christian considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

It was another big night for Joshua Monroe, who rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown.
