Baseball Recap: Concrete Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Concrete's offense. They came up short against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes on Thursday, falling 24-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Concrete's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mount Vernon Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Concrete is set to square off against their familiar foe Coupeville at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mount Vernon Christian will face off against rival La Conner at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
