Football Recap: Beauregard Hornets vs. Anniston Bulldogs
On Friday, the Beauregard Hornets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Anniston Bulldogs 8-6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beauregard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaden Johnson, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown. Johnson got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of96 yards.
The win got Beauregard back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beauregard will host Marbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anniston, they will welcome Ashville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
