Resurrection Christian barely beat Forge Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Fury get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Charley Wilson was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Merick Fisbeck and Will Busby dominated on the mound. Fisbeck pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Busby pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fisbeck has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in ten consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Resurrection Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braedyn Budd, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run was Budd's first of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Resurrection Christian and bumps their season record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Forge Christian, their defeat ended a 19-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-4.

As of now, neither Resurrection Christian nor the Fury have any future games scheduled.
