Soccer Recap: Saegertown Takes a Loss

Saegertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. Saegertown were not able to make up for their defeat to Mercyhurst Prep from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Levi Gardner and Austin Szympruch scored both of Saegertown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Saegertown's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mercyhurst Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Saegertown and Mercyhurst Prep will both be playing Iroquois the next time they take the pitch. The Lakers will head out to face the Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
