Geneseo took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against Bloomfield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Bombers 5-4 on Thursday. The Blue Devils are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.

Geneseo's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Warner, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Geneseo's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for Bloomfield, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.

As of now, neither Geneseo nor the Bombers have any future games scheduled.
