It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Northeastern had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hagerstown Tigers, sneaking past 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.
The team relied heavily on Addisyn Wright, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brooklynne Adams, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northeastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive games.
