Soccer Game Preview: Antelope Valley vs. Palmdale

Antelope Valley is 0-9-1 against Palmdale since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Antelopes will face off against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Antelope Valley has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Antelope Valley fell victim to Eastside and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that Antelope Valley have lost by exactly six goals.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Palmdale duked it out with Knight on Wednesday. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for Palmdale.

Antelope Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palmdale, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Antelope Valley couldn't quite get it done against Palmdale in their previous meeting back in January as they fell 4-2. Can the Antelopes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
