Baseball Game Preview: Martinsville Bluestreaks vs. Casey-Westfield Warriors

Martinsville is 0-10 against Casey-Westfield since March of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Bluestreaks will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Martinsville's offense. They lost 10-0 to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Thursday. The Bluestreaks just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Casey-Westfield came out on top against Danville on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Warriors blew past the Vikings 14-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Casey-Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Martinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Martinsville might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Casey-Westfield when the teams last played back in March. Can the Bluestreaks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
