Volleyball Recap: Jeffersonville Takes a Loss

Jeffersonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Evansville Reitz Panthers. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Jenna Kelley paced Jeffersonville's offense, picking up seven kills. Kelley got some help from Riley Dobson and her 11 assists. Dobson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Evansville Reitz, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Coming up, Jeffersonville will venture away from home to face off against Floyd Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highlanders will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Evansville Reitz, they will be playing at home against Evansville Bosse at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
