Recap: Nutley Maroon Raiders vs. Fort Lee Bridgemen
The Nutley Maroon Raiders lost against the Fort Lee Bridgemen back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Nutley fell 52-43 to Fort Lee. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nutley has scored all season.
It was another big night for Guy Vickers, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals for Fort Lee. Vickers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Devin Jang, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Nutley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fort Lee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
Nutley will head out on the road to take on West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Lee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dwight Morrow at 7:00 p.m.
