Preview: Camden Bulldogs vs. Andrew Jackson Volunteers

The Camden Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers at 7:30 p.m. Camden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Andrew Jackson likes a good challenge.

Last Wednesday, Camden narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past White Knoll 57-54.

Israel Macklin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with 6 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Camden's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrence Stradford, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Augusta.

Despite their loss, Andrew Jackson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryce Peterson, who scored 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. Jy'Kevius Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds.

Camden now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Andrew Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's matchup: Camden have been dynamite from deep this season, having drained 47.8% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Andrew Jackson, though, as they've only nailed 0% of theirs this season. Given Camden's sizeable advantage in that area, Andrew Jackson will need to find a way to close that gap.
