Softball Game Preview: Two Rivers Warriors vs. Rosemount Irish

The Two Rivers Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Rosemount Irish at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Two Rivers didn't have quite enough to beat Hill-Murray and fell 3-1.

Kira Parker put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rosemount). They came out on top against Shakopee by a score of 9-6 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Irish in their matchups with the Sabers: they've now won seven in a row.

Rosemount now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Two Rivers, the loss was their first on the road, dropping their record down to 2-2.
