Preview: Booneville vs. Paris
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Booneville. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next matchup against Paris at 7:00 PM on Friday. Booneville have yet to lose; Paris, on the other hand, are desperate for their first win.
Booneville narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Pottsville 28-26. No one put up better numbers for Booneville than junior Andrew Robertson, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Paris have to be aching after a bruising 28-54 defeat to Waldron two weeks ago.
Booneville's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Paris's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Booneville's success rolls on or if Paris are able to steal their positive momentum.
