Softball Recap: Glenbrook Comes Up Short

Glenbrook fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against St. Michael on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-5. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenbrook's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for St. Michael, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Glenbrook will welcome Ringgold at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Michael, they will venture away from home to challenge Brusly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
