Soccer Recap: Somerset Falls Short of Beaver in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Somerset can now relate to. They came up short against the Beaver Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Somerset can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Beaver are ranked 57th).

Somerset's goal came courtesy of Dominic Gardner, which was the first he's scored this season.

Somerset moved to 17-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Beaver, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
