Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Tri-Valley Vikings, falling 58-35. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 464th, while the Vikings are ranked 125th).

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tri-Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Ridgeview has already played their next matchup, a 67-45 victory against Cornerstone Christian on the 15th. As for Tri-Valley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th.
