Baseball Recap: Maryvale Prep Comes Up Short

Maryvale Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Fort Thomas Apaches.

Maryvale Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Pittman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Pittman has hit this season.

Maryvale Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Fort Thomas, they moved to 5-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Maryvale Prep will face off against Antelope at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Thomas, they will be playing at home against Baboquivari at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
